Animal Care or Work in Dog care Center

Nearly 25000 dogs are  in the streets of Kathmandu. Most of them are living in the bad condition no one is there to take care of them,  there are lost of cases increasing related to Rabies the centre that we work with is working in dog care and providing shelter to 60 street dogs and treatment to the abandon  dogs. They provide this faciities
        • Animal Birth Control (ABC) & Rabies Vaccinations
        • Public Education: Teaching compassion and rabies awareness
        • Rescue & Treatment: For sick and injured street dogs and cats, many of
          whom are now available for adoption
        • Re-homing and adoption Campaign

This programme is suitable for all the people who has got great interest in Animal care especially who love to spent time with animals. no previous experience needed. Volunteers can take part in various activities carried by centre in different location of Kathmandu or they can work in Animal Ambulance. 
volunteers will be work in shift basis about 4 to 6 hours every day. 
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided in Centre. 

Programme Fees : 200 Euro for 1 week 

WHAT DOES YOUR PROGRAM FEE COVER ?

Pre Departure information - A comprehensive booklet to prepare you for your trip before you come. You will get this booklet as soon as you pay your registration fee after completing your application form online. The booklet provides information regarding the country , projects , coordinators , Things to pack , Visas and Emergency Contact Information.
 
Airport Pickup - All volunteers are picked up from KATHMANDUInternational Airport. Volunteers need to send the flight details at least 2 weeks before starting of the programme 
 
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, volunteers are provided accommodation in a hostel accommodation in Kathmandu. When starting their project, volunteers move to project or host family accommodations.
 
Orientation - A half day orientation will be provided by the local coordinators in Kathmandu. Topics relevant to the project, safety guidelines, customs, local transportation, weekend activities are covered in the orientation. A basic tour covering some major tourist destinations in Kathmandu is also provided to the volunteers.
  
Accommodation - Volunteer's working in Teaching Project are provided accommodation in the project itself or in host families. Accommodation would be basic with amenities and share room with other volunteers. 
 
Food - Volunteers are served with two meals a day . Include Dal(Lentils), Curry, Rice, Vegetables, Salad, Pickle.
 
In-country support - You will  have the support and assistance of the local coordinators and staff in case of any Emergency. All our staff and coordinators are available for any help which is required by the volunteers.
